Foldable Sounds Projects Round_3

4 people*, 4 minutes of recording, 2 days to pass it on.

Inspired by the both collaborative + independent nature of the familiar 'Exquisite Corpse' drawing (where one person draws a 'head' and folds the paper, passing it onto the next person to draw the torso etc until some sort of body is ultimately unfolded) this playlist is a compilation of 7 groups of 4 people who each recorded and passed on sounds from their isolated environments.
Each person was numbered 1-4, and in this order each person passed their maximum of 4 minutes of recording onto the next person within a 2 day time limit.

Each piece therefore, is an email-chain collaboration of 4 peoples shared, mixed, distorted, layered, intermingled isolated soundscapes - the passing on of sounds has allowed a sharing physical space, sonically and virtually.

*we changed up the format from previous rounds so that each person passes/shares 2 minutes of sound twice within the same group of 4 (i.e. person 1>2>3>4>1>2>3>4) rather than just once - allowing each person more space for mixing/playing*
